Tensor Analysis

My latest work, together with my colleague Roi Weiss and advisor Boaz Nadler, was focused on the problem of computing all real eigenpairs of symmetric tensors.  This task has received much attention in recent years due to its applicability in a wide range of disciplines. Current methods are very slow, and thus are limited to arrays of small dimensionality. In order to overcome this limitation, we have developed an iterative Newton type method. The effectiveness and efficiency of this method was shown with extensive numerical results, often reducing running time by several orders of magnitude.
